Foot to Knee Stretch

Step to your left with your left foot and place your right foot on the inside of your left knee. Turn your right knee outward and keep your support foot flat and facing forward. Pause for 5 seconds. Step right with your right foot and place your left foot on the inside of your right knee. Turn your right knee outward and keep your support foot flat and facing forward. Pause for 5 seconds. Alternate for 30 seconds. Perform this exercise in the water although the model is on the deck.
Variations:
  • Open - close your hands during the pause.
  • Interlock your fingers and extend both arms forward during the pause.
  • Extend your arms forward during the pause and draw letters, numbers or circles with your hands.
  • Squat during the pause - keep your foot facing forward and your heel on the ground.
  • Interlock your fingers and extend both arms forward, and squat.
