Stair Heel Slides

Sit on the steps, in waist deep water, with your back against the pool wall. Slide your R (recovering leg) heel backward toward your body. Keep the heel flat as you bring it closer, bending the R knee as much as comfortable. Pause and allow the heel to slide back to the starting position, and pause. Move slowly and repeat 10-12 times.
Variations:
  • Bring your heel toward you as far as comfortable. Lift yourself up from the steps and bring the heel back a little bit further. Lower yourself down to the step and pause in that position.
  • Slide both heels at the same time.
